Chapter Christmas Social

The Raleigh-Wake Chapter will celebrate the Christmas season with food, fellowship, and charity on Saturday, December 17, 2011, at 4pm. Join us at the home of Takeeta Tyson (4125 Mackinac Island Lane, Raleigh NC 27610) with your signature/favorite dish, warm-spirit, and new, unwrapped toy (Toys for Tots campaign). RSVP by calling 919.272.2254 or e-mailing Takeeta at ttyson951@rams.wssu.edu. When you RSVP, please indicate the number in your party and the dish you plan to bring.

Toys For Tots Campaign

In keeping with the season of giving, the Raleigh-Wake Chapter will collect new, unwrapped toys for the local Toys for Tots campaign until Saturday, December 17th. Donations can be brought to the Christmas social on December 17th. If you would like to donate, but unable to attend the social, please contact Takeeta (919.272.2254) to make arrangements for pick-up or delivery.

Fallen RAM - Luther Johnson

Raleigh-Wake lost a very good friend and key supporter of the Alumni Chapter. Luther held the office of secretary for the chapter and served as chairperson of the scholarship committee. Luther's passion for all things relating to education and supporting our students was always very evident and will be sorely missed. In honor of Luther we have renamed our scholarship the Luther Johnson Jr. Memorial Scholarship, contributions can be made payable to RALEIGH-WAKE CHAPTER WSSU ALUMNI ASSOCIATION Post Office Box 24826 Raleigh, NC 27611 Attn: Scholarship Fund
