About the Association

Chapter Information

The purpose of this organization shall be to uphold the ideas of the university, to support and contribute to the needs of the university, to take a responsible interest in community and civic affairs, to contribute regularly to scholarship programs and to provide a social outlet for its members.

The Membership Committee formulates plans to increase the association's membership, individual members as well as national members. The Recruitment/Scholarship Committee discovers, refers and support high school graduates who may have good potential for attendance to the university. The Social Action Committee promotes community activities that will first contribute to the betterment of the community and secondly to a better understanding between the community and Winston-Salem State University.

Our next chapter meeting is Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Lions Park Community Center, 516 Dennis Avenue Raleigh, NC 27604. All Raleigh-Wake area Alums are welcome to attend!! .
